I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Borrill group interested in homoeolog expression and its regulation in allopolyploid plants.

I am currently studying the inheritance of homoeolog expression in wheat and the genetic and epigenetic factors that control the inheritance of homoeolog expression.

Prior to joining the Borrill group I worked at the Institute of Experimental Botany in Olomouc, Czechia. My PhD project focused on identification of genome dominance at gene expression level in allopolyploid grass hybrids between Meadow fescue and Italian ryegrass (Festuca pratensis x Lolium multiflorum).
